If you feel tired, dizzy or short of breath, we encourage you to pace yourself and even lie down on your mat for a few poses. You'll find that each time you return, you feel capable of doing more. Many students report that within a few classes, they've found a new edge they didn't even know was there.

What should I bring to my first class?

Just bring yourself and a positive attitude! We provide all equipment including mats, reformers, weights, and towels. Wear comfortable, form-fitting workout clothes. We recommend bringing a water bottle, though we have filtered water stations available.

What should I wear to a Hot Pilates or Hot Yoga class?

Wear lightweight, moisture-wicking, form-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely. Most members wear shorts or leggings with a sports bra or fitted tank top. Avoid loose or heavy fabrics that can trap heat. Bring a water bottle and towel - we provide yoga mats and all other equipment you'll need.

You can book classes through our mobile app (available on iOS and Android), our website, or by calling your local studio. We recommend booking in advance as popular class times fill up quickly. Members get priority booking privileges.

Do I have to sign up for class in advance?

Yes! We require all reservations be made prior to entering the studio. Please note: Unlimited Members are given first priority to reserve classes 7 days in advance. Non Unlimited Members can reserve classes 3 days in advance.

How far in advance can I register for classes?

Unlimited/Annual Members: We offer a 7-day booking window for our members who have a recurring monthly membership. Class Packs: We offer a 5-day booking window for guests using class packs or single drop-in classes. Promotional memberships: We offer a 3-day booking window for promotional guests.

How does the waitlist process work?

If you are added to class from the waitlist, you will receive an email notification. If you are unable to attend after you are added to the class roster, please email us at info@bodyalivefitness.com to be removed.

What is your studio class cancellation policy?

Body Alive requires you to cancel at least 24 hours prior to class for all classes. If you do not cancel during this time frame or if you are absent from class: Unlimited, Annual, and Promotional members will be charged a $10-$15 penalty fee depending on location. Class packs and single class credits will result in the loss of the reserving credit.

What does Home Studio mean?

Your Home Studio is the studio your membership is active. You are only able to reserve classes at your Home Studio. If you have an active Unlimited Monthly Membership, Annual Membership, or Promotional Membership, you can purchase $5 Drop-In credits for our other studios. If you are an active Unlimited Monthly Member or Annual Member you are also eligible for a $50/month Add-On Membership to a different studio.

Can I use my membership at all of your studios?

No. Memberships and credits are studio specific. You are only able to reserve classes at your Home Studio. If you have an active Unlimited Monthly Membership, Annual Membership, or Promotional Membership, you can purchase $5 Drop-In credits for our other studios. If you are an active Unlimited Monthly Member or Annual Member you are also eligible for a $50/month Add-On Membership to a different studio.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes! Monthly members can freeze their membership for up to 30 days per year at no additional cost. Simply contact your home studio or manage your membership through the app.

How do I cancel my membership?

You may cancel your membership at any time by completing the contact form 72 hours prior to your renewal date. Our Customer Service team will respond back as soon as possible to confirm your cancellation.

What happens after my promotion expires?

Your promotion will not automatically renew or roll over into a membership. Please contact info@bodyalivefitness.com if you would like to become an Unlimited Member when your promotion expires!

Great! Our members are welcome to bring a friend to class with them! We offer single class drop-ins which can be purchased on our website. If it is your friend's first class, we offer a $5 First Class Drop-In rate.

Yes! Our Kenwood, Mason, Crestview Hills, and Liberty studios all have showers for you to use. If you need a towel, it can be purchased at the front desk for $5.

I forgot my mat. Can I get one at the studio?

Yes! We have mats and Yogitoes available for purchase, or you can rent them at the front desk for $5 each. Sweat towels are free, and shower towels ($5) are available for purchase.

Where can I put my belongings?

Our studios have lockers and cubbies for you to store your personal belongings. If you have smaller items, feel free to bring them into the studio with you, but we ask that you store any bags or large items in the cubbies or lockers to keep the pathways clear. We also ask that if you bring your phone into the studio, please make sure it is turned off during class.

I arrived early/late and the door was locked. Why?

Studio doors are locked until 15 minutes before class time to give our staff and instructors time to prepare. Once class begins, doors are locked for the safety and security of our students. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early so you have plenty of time to check in and get settled.
